Yes — SHUN RETREAT is held in strict silence throughout the immersion. The silence is an essential part of the retreat structure. Participants are asked to refrain from speaking, social interaction, phone use, messaging, music, reading, and external stimulation during the retreat period. To support full immersion, phones and digital devices will be collected upon arrival and safely stored away for the duration of the retreat. The intention is not restriction for its own sake, but the creation of an environment where attention can gradually return inward — allowing participants to observe the body, breath, emotions, and movement of the mind with greater clarity and depth.

3. Do I need prior meditation or yoga experience?

No prior experience is required. The retreat is structured to support both beginners and experienced practitioners. Practices are guided progressively, and participants are encouraged to work within their own physical and emotional capacity.

The retreat follows a structured full-day rhythm beginning early in the morning and continuing into the evening. 15. Is transportation available?

Yes. Pick-up transportation from the pier is available at an additional cost. Participants who would like transportation support may indicate their request during registration.

16. Can I leave the retreat during the program?

Participants are strongly encouraged to remain fully immersed for the entire retreat duration. Consistency and continuity are important components of the process.

There are two main routes from Bangkok to Koh Phangan.

From Bangkok to Koh Samui
Direct flight via Bangkok Airways is highly recommended for the most seamless journey, followed by a short ferry crossing.

From Bangkok to Surat Thani
Several budget airlines operate this route frequently. The flight takes approximately 75 minutes.

From Koh Samui to Koh Phangan
Locate the Seatran Ferry counter at the airport arrival hall. Take a taxi to the pier for your ferry to Thong Sala. You can book your tickets in advance at www.seatrandiscovery.com.

From Surat Thani to Koh Phangan
Purchase a combined coach and ferry transfer. It is a 90-minute bus ride to the ferry pier followed by a 2.5-hour ferry journey.

From Koh Phangan to Ocean
A pickup service is available via registration or you can use shared taxis (Songthaews) directly from the pier.

From Koh Phangan to Ocean
