Getting Here
There are two main routes from Bangkok to Koh Phangan.
Route 1 – Most Convenient
Route 2 – Most Affordable
From Bangkok to Koh Samui
Direct flight via Bangkok Airways is highly recommended for the most seamless journey, followed by a short ferry crossing.
From Bangkok to Surat Thani
Several budget airlines operate this route frequently. The flight takes approximately 75 minutes.
From Koh Samui to Koh Phangan
Locate the Seatran Ferry counter at the airport arrival hall. Take a taxi to the pier for your ferry to Thong Sala. You can book your tickets in advance at www.seatrandiscovery.com.
From Surat Thani to Koh Phangan
Purchase a combined coach and ferry transfer. It is a 90-minute bus ride to the ferry pier followed by a 2.5-hour ferry journey.
From Koh Phangan to Ocean
A pickup service is available via registration or you can use shared taxis (Songthaews) directly from the pier.
From Koh Phangan to Ocean
Pickup service is available via registration or via local shared taxis from the Thong Sala pier.
